Acceptance of Terms

By using Task Matrix, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Description of Service

Task Matrix is a web application that helps you organize your Google Tasks using the Eisenhower Matrix framework. The service allows you to:

  • View your Google Tasks in a matrix format organized by urgency and importance
  • Create, edit, and delete tasks and task lists
  • Update task completion status and details
  • Filter tasks by Google Task lists
  • Organize tasks by dragging them between matrix quadrants

Google Account Permissions

To provide our service, Task Matrix requires the following permissions from your Google account:

  • Tasks Management: Create, edit, organize, and delete your tasks and task lists
  • Profile Access: View your name, email address, and profile information
  • Account Association: Associate your Google account with your Task Matrix session

These permissions are necessary for the core functionality of organizing your tasks in the Eisenhower Matrix format.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your Google account
  • Using the service in accordance with Google's Terms of Service
  • Not using the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Understanding that your tasks may contain sensitive information
  • Revoking access through your Google Account settings if you no longer wish to use the service

Data and Privacy

Task Matrix does not store your personal data on our servers. All data remains with Google. We only access your Google Tasks to display them in our interface during your session.

Data Sharing: We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer your Google user data to any third parties. Your data is used solely to provide the Task Matrix service.

Data Protection: We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure OAuth 2.0 authentication, and encrypted session management to protect your data. See our Privacy Policy for detailed information on our data protection mechanisms.

Important: Your tasks may contain sensitive information. We do not store this information on our servers, but you should be aware that we can view and modify your tasks during your session.

Service Availability

Task Matrix is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service availability.

Limitation of Liability

Task Matrix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Termination

You may stop using Task Matrix at any time by revoking access through your Google Account settings.
